Partnership between Yachtica and Altraluce

Yachtica and Altraluce, leading companies in the nautical subcontracting field, have recently reached a collaboration agreement aimed towards the innovation of on board lighting and management and control technologies.
The idea to begin this collaboration came up in order to sattisfy the increasing need in terms of high quality and technology required by the very high standards of the yachting industry whilst taking into account the recent novelties introduced in the field of lighting.
As a matter of fact, increasingly efficient solutions are requested to obtain scenic effects, luminosity efficiency, technical and functional improvements, energy and maintenance saving, integrated systems for the optimization of control and user-friendly management technologies, which combine the use of latest LED technologies (RGB, RGBW and H-Power LED) with style and design research in the creation of latest generation lighting fixtures.
Yachtica, the first company worldwide to have applied the principles of Home Automation to the yachting environment with the development of marinized products and solutions for the electronic lighting control, and Altraluce, the first company to have proposed a “different” lighting method and which is devoted to using advanced lighting technology solutions, have taken this challenge together, interpreting the desires of major ship-builders and designers who all consider “light” as a fundamental and decisive element for modern nautical design.
This collaboration is characterized by the synergyetic development of products and system solutions for the management and control of the new generation on board lighting sources. As a result it aims to achieve the highest goals in terms of efficency and effectiveness with topmost innovations for this field.
The first ‘offspring’of this strategic collaboration will be presented at upcoming SEATEC 2009, held in Marina di Carrara, Italy, from 3rd to 5th February. The two companies will conjunctly expose preview of the newest electronic RGB 804L module which allows the management and control of latest color LEDs (RGB, RGBW, traditional White, White and RGB stripes, High Power Led , etc.) ranging from the dimming of the various colors (RGBW) to enabling the choice of preferred colors. Scenic effects may be created combining nuances of different colors, pre-programmed succession of colors and hues as well as the ability of obtaining a wide differing range of white nuances, from the evanescence to automatically and pre-programmed fading, to an impressive number of other possibilities.
The CEOs of the two companies, Andrea Giannecchini (Yachtica) and Sergio Ciappi (Altraluce) say with confidence that this collaboration has opened a new frontier in lighting on board a lot which has yet to be disclosed.
